The Slightly Curious Studio is a creative studio based in London founded by Sampada Gurung. The studio is based in North London , Alperton.
Sampada is a multi disciplinary artist, specialising in illustration, ceramics and crafts . She has been teaching in various studios across uk for years and loves teaching and giving others a platform to encounter materials and learn skills to express their imagination and curiosity.
Sampada host's weekly pottery classes, open to all level and skills. The pottery workshops focuses on hand-building techniques - pinching, coiling, slabbing - and wheel throwing. All classes and workshops are designed to encourage confidence, inspire and take risks without criticism while being stretched in unexpected and challenging ways.
Recently visited The Slightly Curious Studio and absolutely loved it! Sampada is an amazing teacher - skilled, patient, and super inspiring. The studio has a great vibe, perfect for getting creative with pottery. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try something new and fun!
