Brent Museum and Archives (BMA) is a local authority service, owned and operated by Brent Council and located in The Library at Willesden Green. The service sits within the Libraries, Arts and Culture service. The service holds both archive and museum accreditations. Brent Archives preserves the historical records of Brent Council and its predecessors, encompassing council minutes, building plans, historical maps, street directories, electoral registers, school records, and an extensive assortment of photographs and postcards. Our local history archives feature a vast reference library collection and local newspapers dating back to 1870. Additionally, we gather the records of local groups, organizations, and individuals.
